Welcome
The Society for Education of the Deaf and Blind was registered on the 6th of August, 1984 with a view to provide comprehensive and integrated services to the physically and mentally challenged children. It is a non-profit and non-political voluntary organization registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Society has successfully completed 39 years of service in serving the disabled.

SMRPRC School for the Deaf

Chetty's School for the Deaf)
SMRPRC School for the Deaf is a school for Hearing Impaired children. This school follows curriculum that is best suited for their needs and academics.
Vikas School for the Mentally Retarded
Vikas School is a special school that has been established for children with Intellectual Disabilities. It delivers all the elements that are of utmost importance in the education of these children.
Swayamkrushi Vocational Rehabilitation Centre
This Centre has been specifically designed for all the Children With Special Needs and it gives them real time training in various vocational curriculum that will help them in being independent.

The Society accepts Individual Life Membership of Rs. 5,116.00 and institutional Life Membership of Rs. 10,000.00 besides donations.
Exemptions
Donations are exempted from Income Tax Under Section 12A and 80G of Income Tax Act vide letter No. U/S 80G (5) (VI) of Income Tax Act 1961 D.I. No. AADTS8354CF. This is a permanent exemption.
